Vigil Mass of the Dedication on the Feast of St Frideswide

  • St Thomas the Martyr 6 Becket St England, OX1 1PP United Kingdom (map)

On the date when St Barnabas was founded, we celebrate a Vigil Mass at the ancient parish church of St Thomas the Martyr. Out of St Thomas the Martyr came St Paul’s Walton Street, which in turn gave ‘birth’ to St Barnabas. And so it is fitting that we should return to our ‘grandmother’ Church on the Feast of St Frideswide, Patron of Oxford to celebrate the coming into existence of St Barnabas Oxford.

Later Event: October 20
Solemn High Mass of the Dedication
