The Treasures of St Barnabas: Understanding the Symbols of the Building

The inside of St Barnabas Jericho is rich in meaning and symbolism - something very important for the original founders and worshippers of the Church. Ornate and detailed paintings and imagery were part and parcel of the Tractarian and Pre-Raphaelite movements, of which St Barnabas was an important part. In these two identical tours of the inside of St Barnabas, the Vicar, Fr Christopher will introduce and explain some of the details of the builiding, large and small, and you will get a chance to see some of the intricate artwork at close proximity. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to explore the building.
