A special Sung Solemn Requiem for the Solemnity of All Souls’ when we remember those who have died in the past year and indeed our loved ones who have died at any time and we offer them to the mercy of God. Please submit names of those to be remembered to the Vicar by 31 October 2025.

Mass for the Feast of the Birth of St John the Baptist
St John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus and his fore-runner. Join us for a Low Mass at 9.30am as we celebrate his birthday.

Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi is the Festival which celebrates the Sacrament of the Holy Communion, and gives thanks for the gift of the Eucharist/Mass. Each year the celebration occurs on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday and the Sunday following. The festival is characterised by a procession and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at the end of Mass, honouring the presence of our Lord under the form of simple bread and wine. We give thanks for the Sacramental food for our daily pilgrimage. Join us for three special services for this Festival:
Thursday 19 June at 6.30pm: High Mass at Pusey House followed by Procession to St Barnabas and Benediction at St Barnabas.
Sunday 22 June at 10.30am: High Mass at St Barnabas, followed by Procession through Jericho, with a station at Mount Place, returning to St Barnabas for Benediction.
Sunday 22 June at 6.30pm: Compline with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

High Mass for the Feast of St Barnabas, Apostle and Patron
St Barnabas, the Son of Encouragement and Consolation is a very important day in the life of our parish, because we celebrate the Feast Day of our Patron Saint. Join us for a Mass at 7.00pm on the 11 June, the Feast Day of Barnabas. The service will be followed by prosecco.

High Mass for the Feast of Pentecost
The Feast of Pentecost is the celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles, in the New Testament. Being 50 days after Easter Day, it marks the end of the Easter season (Paschaltide) and the Church then moves towards the Feasts of the Holy Trinity, Corpus Christi and the Sacred Heart, before gently falling into Trinity-tide.
Pentecost is the last day when the Paschal Candle is lit in the Sanctuary. After this date it takes its place at the Baptistry/Font, the place of Baptism.
