Residents of Abbey/Cripley Road need our support

The Vicar writes…

I've been raising awareness about the impact that a major infrastructure project in Oxford is having on people I as Vicar care for spiritually. The Botley Road/Network Rail development is one of the most complex and disruptive projects that Oxford has seen. Nobody is happy with the way it has been handled, and everyone is stressed by it, even those at the very top, who make decisions. When you are a Vicar:

⇢ it is important to intervene judiciously in matters of public concern,
⇢ weighing in without thought can often make a problem worse.
⇢ we have what are called parishes, which are geographical areas for which we are pastorally and spiritually responsible.

Part of the parish is very close to Oxford Rail Station. Abbey Road, Cripley Road, Cripley Place. And recently they have borne the brunt of a rather thoughtless and disruptive decision by Network Rail.

I created a vlog and spoke to local BBC News.
